Christian County, Kentucky, Deed Book B contains records drafted from March 1797 through 1814 and entered into the court records during court sessions from April 1797 through July 1814. The original book actually started as Deed Book A of the Court of Quarter Sessions. At the same time there was a "Deed Book A" of the regular County Court. Eventually this book came to contain the records of three different courts: the Court of Quarter Sessions, the Circuit Court, and the regular Christian County Court.
This publication contains a complete transcription of the original text, a description of the transcription methods, some pertinent history, indices of person and place names and research notes for numerous records.
